One of the goals of this project is to delineate the history of women's design in Serbian professional circles.
During the research, I encountered several obstacles. The basic and the most important one is that female designers are almost unknown in the history of Serbian design. This obstacle is at the same time one of the reasons for undertaking such research. The second problem I encountered is the problem of selection. How do you choose those who are "the best" when there is not enough information to make proper selection?
This work deals with the period from the beginning of the 20th century up to the present, with special focus on the period from '50s to the present.
